Duties include preparing ingredients, adhering to the restaurant menu, and following food health and safety procedures. Cook, clean, assist other cooks and staff and deliver food in a fast-paced environment. Work may include operating a grill, oven, or fryer.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Setting up, cleaning, and organizing workstationsPreparing ingredients for the shift; washing vegetables, chopping, seasoning meat, etc.Preparing oven, utensils, and grill for shiftTaking orders from wait staff or computerized systemCooking order according to food health and safety standardsRecommending ideas for specials or seasonal dishesHandling multiple food orders at one timeMonitoring multiple food orders as new orders arriveDressing order for presentationEnsuring each guest order has the correct food and sidesDelivering food order to wait staff in a timely mannerStoring all food properlySanitizing and cleaning workstations and utensilsReordering stock and food suppliesMonitoring other cooks and team membersAssisting other cooks in preparing food or helping other team members when neededQUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:Ability to work during peak business hours, including Fridays, Saturdays and special eventsExcellent communication skills to connect effectively with co-workersPossess the ethics and positive attitude that support our values and cultureAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and organizeEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:Must be at least 18 years of ageESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:Must have the ability/stamina to work a minimum of 30 hours a weekAbility to stand/walk for 2-8 hours per dayMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carryMust be able to work in warm environmentsWork environment: exposure to food, liquor, mixing devices, drink machines, water, sanitizers, cleaning products, knives, other sharp objects, and slippery floorsQUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:Ability to work during peak business hours, including Fridays, Saturdays and special eventsExcellent communication skills to connect effectively with co-workersPossess the ethics and positive attitude that support our values and cultureAbility to multi-task, prioritize, and organizeEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:Must be at least 18 years of ageESSENTIAL PHYSICAL FUNCTIONS:Must have the ability/stamina to work a minimum of 30 hours a weekAbility to stand/walk for 2-8 hours per dayMust be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.Will frequently reach, feel, bend, stoop, carryMust be able to work in warm environmentsWork environment: exposure to food, liquor, mixing devices, drink machines, water, sanitizers, cleaning products, knives, other sharp objects, and slippery floors
