Job DescriptionJob Description Hawthorn Topgolf Swing Suites Odessa is looking for an enthusiastic cook to prepare food for our patrons. Follow all recipes on every menu item. Streamlines work from back of house to front of house exceeding customers’ needs and expectations.Job ResponsibilitiesCleans food preparation areas as determined by law and company policyPrepares bulk food items before the arrival of guestsMakes adjustments to food items to accommodate guests with allergies or specific diet concernsActs as liaison to front-of-house employees to ensure proper food service temperatureFollow all HAACP and Food safety regulationsSeasons food according to recipesTake out trash as necessaryOperates various kitchen appliance such as an oven, grill, or sautePortions, arranges, and garnishes food based on recipe standardAssists other cooks during the food assembly processEstimates expected food consumption and organizes preparation per par sheetsPrepares any necessary sauces or accompaniments before meal service beginsStays open until the last customer leavesCleans up after kitchen business hoursCommunicates with management about meal servicePrepare kitchen station area and garnish needed for drinksRestock and replenish inventory and suppliesStay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experienceComply with all food and beverage regulationsComply with all Standard Operating Procedures outlined by managementOther duties as assigned. Job RequirementsResume and proven working experience as a cookExcellent knowledge of  mixing, preparing and serving menu itemsStrong communication skillsTop Notch time management skillsAbility to stand and or walk for 8 hoursAbility to lift up to 50 poundsPoint of sale operation knowledgeKnowledge of a second language is a plus, but not a requirementPositive attitude and excellent communication skillsAbility to be on time and in Full Uniform by designated shift start timeMust have current TABC and FOOD HANDLERS certificationWe recognize as Hawthorn Topgolf Swing Suite Odessa grows, so must our team and its development.
