And our amazing Team Members are at the heart of it all!A Cook I is responsible for setting up food production and quality control of all meat fish fowl sauces stocks seasonings and all other food items prepared in the different kitchen stations in the hotels continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.What will I be doingAs a Cook I you would be responsible for setting up food production and quality control of all meat fish fowl sauces stocks seasoning and all other food items prepared in the different kitchen stations. You must possess good working knowledge of the fundamentals of the broiler sauté fry roast moist heat and other cooking methods. You would also be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:Maintain cleanliness and comply with food sanitation standards at all timesManage guest orders in a friendly timely and efficient mannerHave good working knowledge of the operation of all kitchen equipment i.e. stoves ovens broilers steamers kettles etc.Ensure knowledge of menu and food productsStock and maintain designated food stations(s)Visually inspect all food sent from the kitchenPractice correct food handling and food storage procedures according to federal state local and company regulationsEOE/AA/Disabled/Veterans Key Skills Culinary Experience,Food Handling,Restaurant Experience,Food Preparation Experience,Kitchen Experience,Hotel Experience,Taleo,Cake Decorating,Cooking,Baking,Sanitation,Knife Skills Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
