Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:JOB DESCRIPTION:We're looking for a reliable and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team in Elmont. As a line cook, you’ll play a key role in preparing delicious, high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. From prepping ingredients to executing dishes with consistency, you’ll help keep service running smoothly and our customers happy.REPORTS TO: Kitchen ManagerLOCATION: The Elmont Pay / GRADE LEVEL: Hourly / Non-ExemptDUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standardsSet up and stock stations with all necessary suppliesMaintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen during and after shiftsEnsure food safety and sanitation standards are followedAssist with receiving and storing food deliveriesCommunicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house staffAdapt to daily prep and service needs based on volumeMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Previous experience as a line cook or in a similar role preferredKnowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipmentAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong teamwork and communication skillsMust be dependable and punctualFood Handler’s Certification is a plus (or willing to obtain)WORKING CONDITIONS:Work is typically performed in the resort. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work involves a majority of standing, bending, stooping, twisting, climbing and some lifting up to 50 lbs.Requirements:
