Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:The Cook will serve as both a Line Cook and a Prep Cook and is responsible for preparing and/or directing the preparation of food to be served, complying with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards, and following established food production programs and procedures.Essential FunctionsPreparing high-quality food items for our guests utilizing various cooking methods.Following company recipe and presentation guidelines to meet or exceed guests' expectationsCoordinating food orders to support timely and efficient delivery to each tableEnsuring proper food safety and sanitation standards to ensure guest safetyMeeting special guest requests while ensuring same high-quality standardsSet up the kitchen before openingFollow recipe guidelines to meet or exceed guests' expectationsPrep foodPortion foodStock the alley and line with items needed to complete orders on timeEnsure proper food safety and sanitation standardsSet up soup stationClean dishes, silverware, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, etc.Stock and restock suppliesBreak down and clean the kitchen, mats, and equipment at closingSweep, spray and mop floorsMaintain sparkling clean restrooms, kitchen, and parking lot (pick up debris and sweep when necessary)Make ordersCheck-in deliveriesLabel and date food for freshness rotationPut away deliveriesFilter and dispose of greaseTake out trashReport to work on time in a neat and clean uniform.
