In this position, you will be responsible for using high-quality ingredients to prepare delicious meals for our customers. If you have a passion for cooking in a fast paced kitchen and enjoy working daytime hours, we'd love you to be part of our team!Duties and Responsibilities:Maintain menus according to season and customer researchMaintain the functionality and cleanliness of the kitchen tools and equipment.Maintain a clean kitchen environmentPrepare food and present it in an appealing mannerSupervise and delegate tasks to other team membersMaintain appropriate levels of inventory and order/restock when necessaryFollow all food safety regulationsFollow proper food storage regulationsParticipate in daily kitchen opening and closing proceduresPerforms other duties as assigned by the owner/management Qualifications:Previous experience in a similar role is preferredServeSafe or Food Handlers CertificationAdvanced knowledge of culinary techniques, prep work, knife skills.Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressureAbility to work as a team playerExcellent time management skillsAbility to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds, and ability to go up and down stairs.
