Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:Now Hiring: Full-Time Cook – Stir Up Something Great!Do you have a passion for creating comforting, home-style meals? We’re looking for a Full-Time Cook to join our dedicated, fast-paced team in Mora, MN. This position offers 40 hours per week, including every other weekend, from 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM.Schedule: 40 hours per week, every other weekendWage: $16.00 – $21.50 per hour (based on experience)Position Summary:The Cook is responsible for meal preparation and clean up.What You’ll DoPrepare and cook fresh, delicious meals from scratchServe meals with a friendly, welcoming attitudeKeep the kitchen and dining areas well-stocked and organizedMaintain supplies such as coffee, utensils, and napkinsProvide excellent service to clients and staffWash dishes and uphold high cleanliness standardsEnsure all kitchen operations meet safety and sanitation requirementsGeneralWork as a member of the broader team of the Center to ensure a high level of service to our clients, including assisting with general housekeeping, kitchen duties and light maintenance.Other duties as assigned. This requires receiving and providing accurate information in writing or verbally, in these situations.Frequently lift equipment and supplies up to 50 lbs. from floor to shoulder height throughout the day.Frequently crouch, stoop or bend to retrieve necessary equipment and supplies.Frequently grasp items to prepare and cook meals, including spoons, knives, pans, etc.Stand tall enough to reach equipment and supplies in storage areas.Frequently stand for extended periods of time.
