About the roleWe are seeking a Cook to join the Savory team. Our ideal candidate will anticipate and address the needs of the company and our client partners with a focus on order fulfillment, quality control, presentation and plating, and delivering high-end final products while maintaining a high standard of hygiene and safety in accordance with the Department of Health and Savory standards. This role is a key addition to our growing team. Here are some examples of the primary responsibilities of our Cooks:Execute daily prep list as prepared by executive and sous chefsMaintain an organized and clean workspace: label and stock all ingredients, wash dishes, sanitize surfaces, garbage removalPrepare all necessary items for service: measure ingredients and seasonings; wash and chop vegetables as specified; cut meat; etc.Undertake basic cooking duties: prepare simple salads, sandwiches, or entrees as requiredCompliance with nutrition and sanitation guidelinesOther kitchen duties to support the culinary team as assignedWhat were looking forAt Savory, our people are at the heart of everything we do.
