Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.QUALIFICATIONSHigh School graduate or equivalentTwo years of experience as a line cook or equivalent formal training.Ability to work varying hours, including weekends and holidays.Posses or be willing to obtain a Food Handlers PermitRESPONSIBILITIESMaintain the standards set by the Executive ChefConfer with the Executive Chef regarding the methods, quantities and procedures used in the preparation of food items.Maintain production schedules to ensure both timely service and quality of product.Observe and implement all approved sanitation practices.Oversee that deliveries from purveyors coincide with the purchase order.Report any unsafe or unsanitary conditions in the kitchen or dining room.Provide coverage and supervision of clients in the absences of the Dining Facility ManagerProvide the Executive Chef with input regarding clients work therapy assignment evaluations.Other duties as assigned by the Executive ChefPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSQualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus. The employee must have the ability to operate a telephone, desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
