Job Description

Coordinator - Facilities Compliance and Operations

Supports the daily operations of the Facilities Operations office. Provides support in coordinating work between Facilities Operations and NYP partners and outside vendors. Facilitates leadership alignment and communication and ensures accurate documentation of key discussions, decision, and actions items. Tracks items to completion and provides reports and/or dashboards to department leadership. Coordinates between Environment of Care team, facilities compliance coordinators, and Facilities Operations staff to ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation for regulatory requirements, including Joint Commission preparedness. Assists in coordinating commissioning agent documentation processing. Compiles information from supervisory and management staff and works with CMMS coordinators and planner schedulers to develop automatic scheduling of preventive maintenance work orders, corrective maintenance work orders and work orders detailing routine daily, weekly, and monthly equipment rounds. Assist in work order management. Participates in daily operational huddles to capture priorities, track follow-up actions, and ensure timely execution of commitments. Coordinate leadership availability for critical meetings and events.

This is a full time position located at NewYork-Presbyterian / Columbia University Irving Medical Center.

Required Criteria

  • Five (5) years progressive experience in a health care facility or related business environment

Preferred Criteria

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Computer proficiency with knowledge of Windows-based computer applications
  • Knowledge of timekeeping systems

Salary Range:

$66,300 - $89,000/Annual
