Only applications received on the CU Foundation Careers Page will be considered.For best consideration applications should be received by 5:00pm on December 2nd 2025 to be considered.Position Title: Coordinator Gift Administration & Compliance - HYBRIDReports To: Director Gift Administration & ComplianceHiring Salary Range: $55250 - $65000FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/HourlyJob SummaryCoordinator Gift Administration & Compliance will coordinate various Gift Administration & Compliance Department initiatives with a keen focus on processes and procedures related to philanthropic contributions received and processed by the University of Colorado Foundation for the benefit of the University of Colorado. The Coordinator Gift Administration & Compliance serves as a key liaison among University Advancement University campus partners and Foundation Finance & Accounting to ensure requests related to the lifecycle of all gifts to the Foundation successfully complete the gift process workflow in a timely manner. They will also assist in compliance-related projects.Essential DutiesSupport the mission vision values and goals of the CU Foundations strategic planDeliver exceptional customer serviceEmbrace the Foundations mission and a culture of belonging and collaboration with each other and our colleaguesEnsure a high level of customer service by communicating regularly and efficiently with internal and external customers and always striving to represent the Foundation and University in a positive and professional mannerTriage the departments compliance email inbox and project management tool in a timely and efficient manner including pro-actively doing research finding answers and possible solutions ensuring the right teams are assigned and keeping the workflow moving forwardAssist with all facets of the Gift Fund Setup workflow such as monitoring the queue answering questions and training campus partners in submitting requests with a keen focus on maintaining gift compliance for all change/inactivation requests and fund attributes/purpose language for new requests applying/updating compliance codesAssist with gift agreement workflow including composing donor letters/emails coordinating DocuSign and initiating related GFS new fund set-up requestsAssist with Compliance coding workflow including moving requests from the GFS to the coding boards in our project management tool and performing data uploads into the Financial Edge databaseServe as a resource for donors Foundation Advancement and other University staff on commitment and gift processing questionsOther DutiesParticipate on committees and/or task forces as requestedAssist with special projects as requestedPerforms other duties as assignedCompetenciesDemonstrated ability to work within a diverse team and actively seek out opportunities to promote and cultivate diversity across the organizationSolid customer service skills with the ability to build relationships and follow-throughAbility to communicate effectively verbally and in writing as well as using good judgment in situations requiring initiative and tactAbility to quickly acquire and apply new skills and knowledge for one or more processes or areasEffective interpersonal skills including the ability to maintain confidentialityGoal-oriented with an ability to take initiative both in a team environment as well as independentlyEducation and ExperienceRequiredAssociates degree and/or equivalent life military and/or professional experienceOne year of experience in a professional office environmentProficient user of technology particularly Microsoft Office Products Microsoft Teams Zoom and Adobe AcrobatPreferredAdvancement/fundraising experience desiredMinimum of one year of directly related experienceSoftware and Equipment UtilizedMicrosoft Office Products; Adobe Acrobat; ; Zoom; Salesforce/CU AscendWorking EnvironmentHybrid scheduleWork in an office environment requiring light physical effort by handling objects up to 20 pounds occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently with or without accommodationsOvertime may be required as well as PTO may not be approved at fiscal and calendar year endStationary at a desk for most of day working with standard office equipment (such as phone copier/scanner and personal computer) with or without accommodationsNOTE: This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties responsibilities or qualifications associated with the job.Required Experience:IC Key Skills Internship,General Ledger Accounting,Communication,Healthcare IT,Fiber Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Monthly Salary Salary: 55250 - 65000
