Coordinator Payroll @ Accounting/ Finance(Internal employees: Set to your account to internal before applying at Purpose:To ensure timely and accurate payroll processing and payroll reporting to TRS.Qualifications:Education/Certification:Bachelors degree required (may be waived in lieu of experience)Special Knowledge/Skills:Experience with Microsoft Office products including Word Excel Outlook and Power Point requiredExperience:Five (5) years payroll experience requiredExperience in school district payroll function preferredMajor Responsibilities and Duties:Management ResponsibilitiesTimely and accurately reports all required TRS reporting on a monthly basis.Timely responds to all TRS inquires.Assist with accurate preparation and distribution of W-2s each year.Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll payments to all employees each payroll.Review/key action sheets for new employees with a change in status and distribute to payroll specialists.Review/perform various payroll loads as needed.Ensure all payroll documents are stored according to District policy.Ensure that all payroll exception reports are reviewed between edit and live processing.Review wage levies child support payments and other deductions by payroll.Assist employees promptly ad courteously with any payroll questions or problems.Update and maintain all payroll procedures.Assist with annual audit process including preparation of various audit schedules/workpapers.Assist with coordinating the processing of payroll with MIS Human Resources Risk Management and ancillary departments.OtherFollow district safety protocols and emergency procedures.Maintain an appropriate level of technology competence to meet the current and future needs of Alief.Implement alternative methods of instruction as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesNoneEvaluationPerformance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Boards policy on evaluation of Professional Non-Supervisor PersonnelMental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors:Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment including computer and peripheralsPosture: Prolonged sitting; occasional kneeling/squatting bending/stooping pushing pulling and twistingMotion: Repetitive hand motions; frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reachingLifting: Moderate lifting and carrying (up to 15 pounds); May require occasional heavy lifting and carrying (15-45 pounds)Environment: May work prolonged or irregular hours; frequent districtwide travelMental Demands: Work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stressThis document describes the general purpose and responsibilities assigned to this job and is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities and duties that may be assigned or skills that may be required.The full job description for this position is included within this job applying for this position you are accepting the responsibilities and duties of this position as they are listed in the job description.Hiring administrators review applicationsinterview andrecommendfor hire.Calendar Days: 235Pay Grade: P022025-2026 Salary Range Min. $65197 Mid. $76947 Max.$88699(Based onpreviousexperience)Salaries aredeterminedby the number of completed and eligible years of service at an accredited school.Salaryis based on 235 workingless than 235 days the salary will be less.(Internal employees: Set to your account to internal before applying at Experience:IC Key Skills Office Manager Experience,Presentation Skills,Accounts Receivable,Dentrix,Organizational skills,Ellucian,QuickBooks,Accounting,Dental Receptionist,Dental Office Experience,Financial Management,Bookkeeping Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
