Job Description
Status: Part-Time Hourly FLSA classification: Non-ExemptSummary of the Position: The Coordinator will be a positive Outreach Liaison to youth and family members in the community.Work on relationship building to help develop a plan to ensure the safety of youth and family members; Solution focused immediately addressing behavior issues. Hourly services to include face to face time with youth and family with flexibility.Coordinator will work closely with CPIs to prevent youth from coming into care attend Diversion Staff meetings and court hearings and work closely with youth and family to identify natural support by providing community resources and help with coordination to other crisis stabilization providers.Respond appropriately to cases that have emergency needs and report all information immediately to supervisor and diversion specialist to further promote stabilization.May help with the family to identify resources or persons who can provide continued support beyond discharge from the program and encourage families to develop linkages.Qualifications/Requirements:Minimum required High School Diploma or GEDBachelors or Masters Degree preferred in psychology sociology social work or relatedAt least one (1) year of experience in crisis stabilization preferred.Strong verbal and written communication skillsPosition requires reliable insured transportation current auto insurance coverage and valid drivers licenseBilingual (Spanish Speaking) is a plus.Benefits Available:Voluntary DentalVoluntary VisionUNUM Supplemental Benefits403(b) Retirement Savings Plan.Employee Assistance ProgramPet InsuranceDirect DepositCompetitive Weekly PayFlexible ScheduleYouth Advocate Programs Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment based on individual merit skills and qualifications without regard to race age color ancestry national origin religion sex military or veteran status or disability or any other status protected by the laws or regulations in the locations where YAP operates.
