Coordinator/Sr Coordinator, Team Member Engagement at American Airlines

- Team Member Engagement has some of the most exciting jobs in the company – developing and leading programs for events, recognition, campus experience and our foundations.
- The Team Member Engagement Coordinator will help manage group recognition requests, creation of event registration sites and campus programming. Additionally, you will also support multiple areas of correspondence and ad-hoc requests.
What you'll do
- Creation of event registration sites
- Administers batch uploads for recognition programs
- Manages all Coupa invoice coding and supply ordering for Team Member Engagement
- Manages the campus tours intake form and provides campus tours to special guests
- Engage daily with our team members through correspondence via multiple shared mailboxes
- Coordinate with vendor and leaders to assist with Special Event recognition
- Work with specialists and operational leaders on Holiday Meal coordination (Oct-Dec)
- Support the team on major events including the annual fall festival, Journey, Circle of Excellence and more
All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- 2 years of experience in the field or in related areas required
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
- Passion for influencing culture and making a positive difference for our team members
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Must have excellent time-management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time and meet deadlines effectively, efficiently and independently
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Sound judgment, self-directed, able to take initiative when appropriate
- Excellent verbal, written, and telephone communication and skills and the ability to interact with team members in a positive manner
- Professional, positive, enthusiastic demeanor, which includes being flexible, proactive, confident, resourceful, and efficient
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft office software (Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint) and the ability to learn new software
- Working knowledge of Stova, Sharepoint and Coupa
