The selected engineer will work in a high-performing cross functional team primarily focus on Core Processing.This position will directly report to the Core Avionics team within Mission Systems on a Phantom Works Proprietary program.Position Responsibilities:Provide technical oversight to hardware leads Perform trade studies modeling simulation and other forms of analysis to predict component interconnects and system performance and to optimize design Researches specific technology advances for potential applicationDesigns hardware software and interface specificationsArchitect Network and Processing solution Define and conduct tests to validate performance of designs to requirementsUsing CAMEO/MBSE Analyze translate and implement requirements into system architecture hardware and software designs and interface specifications showing traceability throughout the product lifecycleAssists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirementsSupport project management by providing work statement budget schedule and other required inputs and by reporting project statusInterface with multiple disciplines internal and external customers suppliers and multiple levels of the organizationThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical Mechanical or Aeronautical) Computer Science Data Science Mathematics Physics Chemistry (Level 5) 14 years of work related engineering experience with a Bachelors or 12 years of work related engineering experience with a Masters or 9 years of work related engineering experience with a PhDElectrical engineering experience involving system requirements functional decomposition and allocation integrated design analysis and evaluation verification.Experience with avionics hardware development design production and project management.Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):5 years in development and qualification physical and functional integration and design and resolving supplier technical issues.5 years of electrical engineering experience involving system requirements functional decomposition and allocation integrated design analysis and evaluation verification.5 years of experience with Avionics Hardware development design production and project managementTypical Education for Lead Level:Level 5: Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering computer science mathematics physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD9 years related work experience Master12 years related work experience).
