We have a proven track record of delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across the Southeast and we currently manage a portfolio of multifamily and commercial properties.Role OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Corporate Accountant to support the daily accounting operations of our corporate office. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records preparing financial reports reconciling accounts and assisting with budgeting and compliance efforts. The Corporate Accountant plays a key role in ensuring financial accuracy and supporting the overall financial health of the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial OperationsPerform daily accounting tasks including general ledger maintenance accounts payable/receivable processing payroll support and bank reconciliations.Assist with month-end quarter-end and year-end closing procedures.Prepare and analyze financial statements budgets forecasts and variance reports.Prepare and record accurate journal entries and perform detailed account reconciliations.Compliance & ControlsAssist with preparation and filing of tax forms regulatory reports and internal financial documents.Assist with implementing new procedures systems and tools to enhance efficiency.Help maintain and strengthen internal control procedures to ensure compliance and accuracy.Support internal and external audit and reporting activities.Collaboration & Process ImprovementPartner with the Controller Accounting Manager and other departments to support company-wide initiatives.Identify opportunities for process improvements within the accounting workflow.Assist with implementing new procedures systems and tools to enhance efficiency.QualificationsBachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or related field (CPA/CMA a plus).2 - 4 years of progressive accounting experience.Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting fundamentals.Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Exceptional attention to detail accuracy and organizational skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Effective written and verbal communication.Competitive benefits and perks includes:Cigna Medical Insurancefor less than $35 a month for individual coverage.Employer-Paid Short-Term Disability including maternity coverage.401k Retirement Planningwith a full 3% match and a 50% match on 4%-5%.20% Employee Rental Discount.10 Paid Holidays.Ample Vacation and Sick time.Various otherInsurance Options.Employer-PaidLong-Term Disabilityand $50000 ofGroup-Term Life Insurance.Positive Team Culture: Join a supportive collaborative team that believes in achieving excellence together.Join Us:Tribute Companies is an equal opportunity employer.
