Corporate Aerospace Buyer
Onsite: Savannah, GA Note: We have one position that will be supporting our site locations across the United States and England. This role will require a work schedule 10:00am-6pm M-F. Other openings will be standard 1st shft work schedules.

What You Will Bring Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent education and experience will be considered. 2+ years of procurement, supply chain or related experience is required. Experience soliciting supplier quotations, evaluating bids, issuing purchase orders, and managing supplier performance. Ability to negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, and commercial terms while supporting quality and operational objectives.
Position Purpose: Under limited supervision, executes procurement activities for aerospace parts, materials, and services. Ensures compliance with industry regulations and internal policies while supporting operational efficiency and supplier performance.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Essential Functions: Develops sources of supply and obtains information from suppliers concerning product and/or service specifications, price, delivery dates, etc. and ensures all applicable data is current at supplier. Solicits quotes, conducts bid evaluations, evaluates costs, negotiates optimum delivery schedules and ensures the best combination of price, quantity discount, product quality, standard terms and conditions, and where appropriate, supports the establishment of long-term agreements such as Master Orders and Blanket Purchase Agreements. Prepares definitive purchase orders, including terms and conditions, makes award, administers contracts with suppliers within budgetary limitations, and ensures schedules are met. Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and cost. Ensure procurement activities comply with AS9100, ITAR, and other aerospace standards. Collaborate with internal departments including Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality Assurance. Maintain accurate procurement records and support audits and reporting requirements. Assists in planning and reviewing the work of Procurement Spec, where appropriate. Perform other duties as assigned.
