Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers engineers policy experts and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.About the roleWere seeking a Corporate Communications IC to support the strategy and execution of corporate announcements and executive communications programs for senior this role youll build communications campaigns for investor media enterprise and industry audiences while advancing our business objectives and reinforcing our position as a frontier AI company.This is a high-impact role where youll craft compelling narratives about Anthropics mission technology and market position while shaping the strategy for major corporate announcements. You will also work directly with C-suite executives to shape their platforms and prepare them for public engagements.What youll do:Develop and execute communications strategies to elevate Anthropics brand and effectively communicate our storyCreate strategic messaging and talking points for major company announcements and executives across investor media enterprise and industry audiencesBuild and manage relationships with tier-1 business technology and industry media to secure strategic coverage opportunitiesPrepare executives for high-stakes communications moments including media interviews investor meetings conference keynotes and public appearancesCraft corporate and executive narratives that connect Anthropics AI safety mission to business momentum and market opportunityPartner cross-functionally with finance marketing product legal and other teams to advance company prioritiesIdentify and pursue strategic speaking engagements interviews and forums to elevate executive visibilityProvide real-time communications counsel to executives on sensitive topics and issues managementYou may be a good fit if you:Have 8 years of experience in corporate communications executive communications or related fields ideally at a high-growth technology company or top-tier communications agencyDemonstrate exceptional strategic thinking with the ability to connect communications activities to business objectivesPossess proven experience developing and executing executive visibility programs with measurable business impactHave strong experience working directly with C-suite executives and building trusted advisory relationshipsAre an excellent writer and storyteller who can distill complex technical concepts into compelling narratives for diverse audiencesHave established media relationships and a track record of securing strategic coverage in business and technology outletsShow expert-level understanding of media relations including interview preparation message development and issues managementBring experience managing executive communications during sensitive situations or crises with sound judgment under pressureAre comfortable operating in fast-paced ambiguous environments with competing prioritiesHave strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to influence without direct authorityPossess a results-oriented mindset with a bias toward flexibility action and impactCare deeply about ensuring that transformative AI systems are developed safelyStrong candidates may also have:Experience in the AI machine learning or frontier technology sectorTrack record of building executive thought leadership in competitive or rapidly evolving industriesExperience with financial communications investor relations or partnership announcementsInternational communications experience and ability to adapt strategies across different geographiesCrisis communications expertise managing high-profile sensitive issuesExperience coaching executives on their personal brand and public presenceBackground developing executive content including op-eds speeches and presentationsCare about ensuring that transformative AI systems are developed safely.The expectedbase compensation for this position is below. Our total compensation package for full-time employees includes equity benefits and may include incentive compensation.Annual Salary:$255000 - $320000 USDLogisticsEducation requirements: We require at least a Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent experience.Location-based hybrid policy: Currently we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time.
