Controller - Corporate BankingOur ClientA well-established regional financial institution is seeking an experienced Controller to lead their accounting and financial reporting function.The OpportunityLead a team of 5-6 accounting professionals while overseeing all financial reporting regulatory compliance and the annual audit process. This is a critical role reporting directly to the CFO with high visibility to executive leadership.What Were Looking ForEducation:Bachelors degree in Accounting and CPA designation requiredMasters degree in accounting/finance or MBA desiredExperience:Minimum 10 years of accounting experience with at least 7 years in an accounting management roleAt least 5 years of bank accounting experience requiredStrong understanding of GAAP and regulatory reporting requirementsAdvanced Excel skills and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteDemonstrated leadership communication and team development abilitiesProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlinesKey Success TraitsWe need a collaborative leader who can mentor and develop team members solve problems independently and handle diverse responsibilities from monthly close to special projects.
