Metalcraft of MayvilleMetalcraft of Mayville is an Equal Opportunity Employer:Minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identityCorporate Director of Safety and ComplianceUS-WI-MayvilleJob ID: 2025-4256Type: Regular Full-Time# of Openings: 1Category: Safety and EnvironmentalMetalcraft of Mayville, Inc.OverviewThe Safety Manager will be in charge of evaluating all safety protocols followed at all 8 of Metalcraft’s facilities, organize safety training for employees, reports problems to management, and train and grow the current safety team and program.ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee current safety staff of 4.Visit all Metalcraft locations and conduct safety audits and verify equipment and materials are up to standardsConducts safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance, evaluate performance, identify corrective action, and implement corrective actions.Monitor compliance to policies and laws by inspecting employees and operationsWork with safety team, executive team, and managers to inspect equipment and machinery to observe possible unsafe conditionsResearch and implement new materials handling processesAnalyze accident reports and evaluate injury case studies based on available factsPrepare and conduct training sessions for all employees and vendorsPreparing and enforcing policies to continue to establish a culture of health and safetyEnsure compliance with all regulatory bodies and standards (OSHA, EPA, etc.)Research environmental regulations and policies and institute changes to ensure complianceTrack, record, and monitor incident metrics and apply findingsOversee the applications for and receipt of necessary permitsOversee work comp cases through all of our facilitiesOther duties as assigned.QualificationsPrior experience as a Safety ManagerDeep understanding of legal health and safety guidelines Strong leadership, motivation, and conflict resolution skillsAbility to manage and supervise employees and hold accountable to safety standards and goalsDemonstrated detail orientation, self-motivation skills and ability to multi-task.Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.Ability to train, influence and motivate team membersGood computer skills are also required, as well as knowledge of manufacturing reporting and additional safety software.Education and/or ExperienceBachelor’s degree within Safety management or related field5+ years’ experience in safety 2+ years within metal fabrication environmentKnowledge of OSHA and EPA standards Valid qualifications in occupational health and safety Metalcraft of Mayville is an Equal Opportunity Employer: Minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity PM17Compensation details: 7.24-7.25PIc8858a3fcc15-37344-39240063
