The Corporate Procurement Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing procurement operations within a newly established department at DataBank. This individual will manage end-to-end procurement processes, collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, and ensure compliance with due diligence protocols. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a changing and growing environment.Ability to negotiate cost and contract terms and conduct RFP's with supervision. Vendor onboarding and basic vendor management. Manage contracts in our new CMS (contract management system). Proactively track contracts ahead of renewal dates. Assist the Director of Procurement Management with establishing policies, procedures, and training.While this role requires experience, this person will have learning and growth opportunities in Databank's growing environment. Databank's culture is unmatched with our cultural cornerstones: Inspire Confidence; Put People First; Be Data-Centered.Responsibilities:Procurement OperationsCollaborate on implementing new procurement procedures, policies, training and ensure adherence to new protocolsManage and prioritize purchase request queuesAssist with vendor selection and onboardingNegotiate purchase costs and contract terms (with supervision/guidance)Oversee and manage applicable due diligence reviews for each purchaseRecommend process improvements for efficiencySupport policy changes and training initiativesLight special project managementPerform other duties as assigned Stakeholder/Vendor EngagementBuild and maintain relationships with internal data center teams, requesters, reviewers, due diligence approvers, and vendorsCommunicate clearly and set realistic expectations with all parties while providing excellent customer serviceVendor onboardingConduct RFP's (with supervision/guidance) Contract ManagementTrack and maintain contracts using new CMSAdvise users on renewal notices and next stepsCollect and maintain Certificates of Insurance (COIs)Qualifications:Required SkillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, OneDrive, Sharepoint, Adobe Acrobat, Slack, DocuSign, and ZoomTreat communication and active listening as a top priority and create transparencies within the processTrustworthy and reliable work ethicAbility to adapt procurement process changes on a case-by-case basisComfortable working within a team and independently, navigates change well while adapting in a rapidly growing companyStrong relationship-building skills with internal stakeholders, team, approvers and vendorsHigh attention to detail and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationIndependent thinker with proactive approach to new process improvement to increase efficiencyPreferred ExperienceFamiliarity with data center industryExperience with Netsuite, Tipalti, Productiv, Monday.com, and NavanProcurement certificationAssociate or Bachelor's degreeEager to learn new skills and leverage AI to add efficiencies in everyday workOwnership mentality: committed, responsible, and accountable
