As a front-line leader within our MCCII manufacturing operations, the Production Supervisor plays a critical role in driving safety, quality, and performance across production lines. These responsibilities will be carried out in a manner that maintains the standards of the production plants in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices in a safe, efficient manner to produce quality products.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Coordinate plant activities through planning/developing production schedules with corporate office to insure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective mannerDistribute production schedules and monitor raw and packaging material Prepare and review production reports and dataProvide direction, development and leadership to all production, packaging and shredding personnelMonitor, review and approve production staff hours worked including overtimeWork with Production Manager and Human Resources to coordinate hiring, training and disciplinary actionIdentify and effectively communicate to management conditions or events potentially requiring deviation, investigation, corrective action or change control documentationAssist with new hire reviews, one-on-ones and annual reviewProvide support and follow-up for third party and customer auditsCollaborate with all departments on changes, process improvements, new packaging/products, capital upgrades and expansionsMaintain and execute customer-specific information and instructionsAssure compliance with Safety, OSHA and environmental guidelinesFollow all FDA, GMP and ISO regulations/guideline Develop, review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions and Forms ? Execute other responsibilities and projects as required Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:High School Diploma, 4 year degree in a related field preferredStrong computer skills3-5 years’ experience in a lead role in a food or pharmaceutical manufacturing environmentPhysical Requirements:Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standardsAbility to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standardsDetail oriented self-starter with the ability to work independently and the ability to manage multiple tasksAbility to communicate clearly and effectively; maintaining professionalismShould be physically able as job includes a certain amount of lifting and moving (~ 60 lbs)24-hour-a-day availability essential Compensation details: 45-47.11 Hourly WagePI8cfc86f947bb-25405-39118299
