Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain standard costs for materials labor and overhead. Analyze manufacturing costs variances and trends to identify areas for improvement. Manage inventory costing valuation and reconciliation including cycle count adjustments. Prepare detailed cost reports and analyses for management decision-making. Investigate and explain production cost variances against standards and budgets. Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts related to manufacturing costs. Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and efficiency improvements. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. 3-5 years of progressive cost accounting experience within a manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles including standard costing variance analysis and inventory valuation. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
