Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain standard costs for raw materials work-in-progress and finished goods. Analyze manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs. Perform variance analysis for material labor and overhead investigating significant deviations. Manage inventory valuation ensuring accurate costing and reconciliation. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic cost forecasts. Identify and recommend cost reduction initiatives and process improvements. Ensure the accuracy of cost data and adherence to internal control policies and procedures. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. 3-5 years of progressive cost accounting experience preferably within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables VLOOKUPs). Strong understanding of GAAP standard costing variance analysis and inventory valuation methods. Demonstrated ability to analyze complex financial data identify trends and provide actionable insights. Bonus Qualifications Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles. Proficiency in business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) or SQL. Demonstrated experience in leading or contributing to cost reduction and process improvement initiatives. SAP CO-PA or other advanced ERP costing module expertise.
