Cost Accountant Location: Onsite in Fort Worth, TX 76102 Employment Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $75-$85K/yr. What You’ll Actually Do as the Cost Accountant: Maintain standard costs, inventory valuation, and cost models Prepare cost and variance analysis reports Support month-end close activities Monitor production costs and identify improvement opportunities Track inventory activity, cycle counts, and variances Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and margin analysis Ensure compliance with accounting policies and US GAAP What You’ll Need to Succeed as the Cost Accountant: Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance (CPA/CMA a plus) 5+ years of cost accounting experience, including 3+ years in manufacturing Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory, and variance analysis Advanced Excel skills; ERP experience preferred (D365 a plus) Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills
