Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain standard costs for materials labor and overhead. Analyze manufacturing variances and report on performance against budget. Perform inventory valuation reconciliation and obsolescence analysis. Prepare detailed cost reports profitability analysis and margin analysis. Identify and recommend cost reduction opportunities and efficiency improvements. Assist in the annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes. Ensure accuracy of product costing and bill of materials (BOMs) within the ERP system. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting Finance or a related field. 3-5 years of progressive cost accounting experience preferably in a manufacturing environment. In-depth knowledge of cost accounting principles GAAP and inventory valuation methodologies. Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify cost drivers and analyze variances. Bonus Qualifications Experience with specific ERP costing modules (e.g. SAP CO Oracle Cost Management). Certification or practical experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) for presenting cost insights. Advanced SQL skills for data extraction and analysis.
