Run what runs the world.This Position reports to:Operations Finance ManagerYour role and responsibilities:As the Cost Accounting Lead you will have the opportunity to collect and analyze financial metrics. Each day you will identify trends and problems and communicate information to relevant groups. You will also showcase your expertise by recommending actions to improve financial performance of the specific factory/manufacturing site.This is an on-site position based in Richmond VA but will consider hybrid for the right candidate.This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power division in the United States.Key Responsibilities:Perform cost accounting activities including creation of standards allocations analysis and ensure accuracy of BOM and routings as it relates to finished goodsEnsure accuracy of inventory & logistics by enforcing policies & procedures monitoring adjustments and develop corrective action(s) for exceptionsGenerate reporting for plan vs actual for costs hours production targets etc.Prepares financial modelling for various hypotheses and assesses impact to factory with special focus on product / business line profitability product costing production variances over/under-absorption analysis / inventory analysis.Qualifications:Bachelors Degree in Finance Accounting Business or related is required.8 years of experience in Finance & Accounting with 3 years of experience in cost accountingExperience with SAP is required.
