For more information visit .Location: Chicago or New York CityWere looking for an experienced product counsel with 5 years of legal experience preferably with 3 years in-house. You will work closely with Reddits consumer product and engineering teams to provide legal guidance on a wide range of legal issues including intermediary liability information access privacy and content safety. A successful candidate will be passionate about collaborating with cross-functional colleagues to solve complex legal problems and working at the cutting edge of law and technology.What Youll Do:Advise Reddits consumer product teams through all stages of product development on how to navigate potential legal risks.Analyze new and existing regulations that are relevant to Reddits consumer products and work with product teams to translate legal requirements into product requirements and implement those requirements.Serve as a strategic partner to help product and business teams anticipate and plan for future regulatory requirements.Develop strong cross-functional relationships and deep product and industry knowledge.What Were Looking For:Law degree (JD LLB LLM etc.).
