If you have a passion for service and a dedication to continuous growth we want you to be part of our team.Overview: Small Group Counselors work with our youngest campers (ages 46) and with campers who may need extra supervision support or behavioral guidance. These counselors must demonstrate patience calm leadership and strong communication skills. A background in childcare early childhood education special needs support or behavioral health is strongly preferred.Key Responsibilities: Supervise small groups requiring closer attention and individualized support Lead age-appropriate activities games and movement sessions Provide patient nurturing guidance throughout the day Assist with emotional regulation conflict resolution and positive behavior reinforcement Maintain high safety standards in all activities and transitions Communicate regularly with camp leads about camper needs or concerns Help younger or high-support campers navigate new experiences confidently Support group routines such as snacks hydration rest breaks and bathroom transitions Ensure a calm positive and supportive environmentQualifications: Experience in childcare early childhood education behavioral health or related fields Strong patience empathy and attentiveness Prior work with young children or special populations preferred Ability to manage small groups with care consistency and clear communicationGet to know us better: job description is intended to describe the general requirements for the position.
