We are looking for skilled, talented, and compassionate people to join our team! The Counselor will provide mental health services to individuals incarcerated in the Delaware County Jail. Services will include but are not limited to mental health assessments, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention and case management. Additional responsibilities include being responsible for creating, safeguarding, and maintaining documentation necessary for professional services, ensuring documentation accurately reflects client progress and services provided and properly note any amendments. The Counselor will also provide assessment and diagnosis to individuals, including assessing clients' mental health status, history, behaviors, and emotions, to accurately identify any mental health issues and develop appropriate treatment plans. Participation in weekly group supervision and participation in other mandatory Maryhaven trainings will also be required.This position is onsite at the Delaware County jail. This position can be for two part-time people OR one full-time person:Part-time offering:One therapist would work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 9 am – 5pm.The other therapist would work Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9 am – 5 pm.Full-time offering:Monday-Friday, 9 am - 5 pmSome coverage of other shifts may be requested.
