Job DescriptionJob DescriptionGillmann Services is now seeking a Skilled Counselor for work in Charleston WV and St Albans WV. Full-time, long-term, competitive rate based on experience! Clinical experience with drug and alcohol focus preferred, as well as experience in group and individual settings.**Must have prior experience, Master's in counseling (LPC), social work (LGSW or LICSW), and active WV licensure to be considered**ResponsibilitiesPerform admission functions by interviewing applicants and assessing/ evaluating applicants' physical, psychological, social and vocational status.Write diagnostic formulations and assessments; Review medical records and psychological reports to determine clients' clinical status and develop Individualized Treatment PlansProvide direct clinical treatment services to clients using individual, group, family, and couple therapy methodsMeet with clients on a regularly scheduled basis, assist clients in utilizing community resources and services, facilitate client referralsParticipate in staff conferences, case record and utilization review meetingsAssist in planning, organizing, and conducting groups for addiction education, discussion, and orientation for clientsPrepare evaluation conference, re-evaluation conference, and discharge reportsDocument, in accordance with program policies and procedures, all contacts and services provided to clients (including initial assessments, outpatient histories, and progress notes for client record)Maintain appropriate West Virginia credentialsObserve all Federal and State regulations governing client confidentialityOther duties as requiredQualificationsAbility to demonstrate proficiency in basic and advanced substance abuse treatment skillsExcellent writing and documentation skills, organizational and time management skillsFamiliarity with electronic health records, proficiency with computers and relevant programsAbility to maintain patient confidence and protect operations by keeping patient care information confidentialUpdate job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizationsMUST HAVE Master's degree in counseling (LPC), social work (LGSW or LICSW)Minimum 2 years clinical experience with a drug and alcohol focusReliable transportation and the ability to work a consistent scheduleFor more information about this position and how to apply, please call our office at 304-252-4510!Company DescriptionGillmann Services specializes in placing skilled trades people for permanent job placement.Company DescriptionGillmann Services specializes in placing skilled trades people for permanent job placement.
