Job Description

Job Responsibilities• Provide short-term, solution-focused individual counseling to students for 16 hours per week.• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.• Assist students experiencing acute psychological distress or crisis.• Collaborate with campus safety and emergency services when necessary.• Provide follow-up care and referrals to community resources.• Serve as an active member of the college’s Behavioral Intervention Team.• Design and facilitate workshops and presentations on topics such as stress management, anxiety, depression, suicide prevention, and resilience.Minimum and Additional Requirements• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.• Current licensure in the state as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent.• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, preferably in a college or adolescent/young adult setting.Preferred Qualifications• Experience working in higher education or with diverse student populations.Additional CommentsThese are temporary, part-time positions.
