Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDescription:Tires Unlimited is seeking an energetic and dedicated Automotive Parts Specialist to join our team of auto parts professionals. This is the ideal position for knowledgeable and enthusiastic people who have a passion for automotive equipment, truck, OEM fleet, small engine and/or non-traditional vehicle parts and applications. This person will provide knowledge about auto part features, benefits, and warranty information to our customer.Responsibilities:Use technology (computer), telephone, and paper catalog systemProvide auto parts answers and solutions for our retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter/over the phoneUse your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members answer questions for customersProviding outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who comes into our NAPA Store!Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced storesWelcome retail customers into our retail stores and engage to provide a positive consumer experienceUse technology (computer), cash register, telephone, and paper catalog systemThis is the right opportunity for you if you:Genuinely enjoy helping our retail and wholesale customers with their auto parts and service questionsHave gained your parts experience by working the automotive industry or have gained your experience tinkering with/repairing cars & trucks through the yearYou are willing to learn all things automotive if you do not have the background in automotive partsWhat’s in it for you:Awesome people and brandCompetitive PayOutstanding health benefits and 401KGreat training, and ongoing development with support from multiple leaders/your teamRequirements:What you’ll need:Minimum 18 years of agePrevious experience in a parts store or automotive industry or at least a willingness to learn all things auto parts.High School Diploma or GED. Technical or Trade school courses or degree.Passion for delivering customer careExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to thrive in a busy, face-paced environmentGreat listening skills and empathy for customersAnd if you have this, even better (not a deal breaker if you don’t):Background and/or passion for automotive industry, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership.Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, auto body/collisionKnowledge of cataloging AND/OR inventory management systems, a plusEntirely customer-centric (external/internal)ASE Certifications
