Outcomes: The Counter Terror and Deterrence Planner Support is expected to achieve the following outcomes:
- Complete tasks assign prior to the date requested by Gemini supervisors and customer counterparts
- Deliver products and services that lead to an Exceptional rating in Government Contractor Performance Assessment Reports.
Education: BA/BS
Responsibilities: The position will demonstrate expertise with all aspects of the deliberate and contingency planning processes. This includes the application of the JOPP and Joint Operation Planning and Execution System during the development and maintenance of USCENTCOM plans. Contractor Subject matter expert must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university in a discipline applicable to the effort; a demonstrated knowledge of DOD organizations and agencies, experience with operations supporting a Combatant Command Headquarters, Service Component Staff, or other government agency equivalent headquarters, and experience as a senior level professional on a multi-disciplinary team.
The position will provide SME support to USCENTCOM for United States Special Operations Command-related planning efforts, to include CWMD and WMD-Terrorism plans, deterrence planning, and Global Counterterrorism and WMD-T planning efforts. Support the development, coordination, and analysis of CWMD and CWMD-T plans assessments with the Joint Staff, Office of Secretary of Defense, other Combatant Commands and the interagency as required. Participates in the CWMD and CWMD-T Community of Interest making recommendations to improve CWMD and CWMD-T plans, policy and strategies. Coordinates command CWMD-T planning actions with DoD agencies such as Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) and Interagency offices such as the Department of State, the Department of Energy, the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Justice and the Central Intelligence Agency.
The position will support the development of overall joint system concepts, designs and technical approaches to meet broadly stated requirements and objectives. The position must conduct top-level system analysis, perform trade studies, perform technical optimizations, and develop high-level designs. Counter Terrorism & Deterrence Planner must prepare, staff, and deliver complex operations or technical documentation, conduct reviews and deliver presentations. The position will participate in all phases of joint system review and development.
This position (X0004) supports paragraph(s) 3.2.1.4 of the Performance Work Statement.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience.

Highly Desired:
- Minimum of Ten (10) or more years of relatable experience working with DoD or Government contracts.
- Minimum of five (5) years of practical experience in the area relating to CWMD.
Travel: As required to support the project.
