Job DescriptionJob DescriptionDominion Management Group EnterprisesDelivery DriverJob DescriptionSummaryAs a Delivery Courier, you would follow standard company procedures and safety requirements to pick up and deliver time sensitive materials in a timely and efficient manner.The courier will sort packages, then drive a van or truck to customer locations to deliver packages, pick up packages while using a scanner to track packages. The courier will also communicate with customers and management regarding delivery of packages.Job Duties:Under tight deadlines, performs duties such as sorting, packing, loading, unloading containersPalletizing and separation of freight/documentsEnsures all delivery material is prepared for shipmentOperates a scanner to record shipping and package information for documents/packages picked up or deliveredDrive forkliftReports any suspected breach of security or unusual happenings to supervisor immediatelyMaintains good work habits, including reporting to work on time and adhering to standard work, safety procedures and ensuring your vehicle is in tip-top shapeMay assist supervisor in orienting, training, assigning and checking the work of other employees Skills & Qualifications:Valid/clean driver’s license with clean driving recordMust be at least 21 years old (for CDL positions)Candidate must pass pre-employment background and drug screening.1 year delivery experience preferred Education:High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED) Physical Requirements:Must be able to lift forty (40) lbs frequentlyMust be able to lift up to seventy (70) lbs occasionallyMust be able to walk, climb stairs, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop and crouch repeatedlyJob Type: Part-time and Full-time Available (On-site interviews)Must have a valid Virginia Driver’s License.Must be willing to submit to a criminal background check and motor vehicle investigation in accordance with local laws and regulations.Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
