CPI Trainer at Lenawee Intermediate School District

Trainer will provide up to 10 initial and/or refresher Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Physical Skills professional learning sessions a year.Trainer will provide verbal intervention training.Trainer will teach individuals how to identify respond to prevent and de-escalate low medium and high-risk crisis behaviors with both restrictive and non-restrictive methods.Trainer must be able to perform all restrictive response methods.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Required:Hold an active Nonviolent Crisis Intervention with Physical Skills trainer certificationThe Lenawee Intermediate School District (LISD) Board of Education does not discriminate on the basis of race color national origin sex (including sexual orientation or gender identity) disability age religion height weight marital or family status military status ancestry genetic information or any other legally protected category (collectively Protected Classes) in its programs and activities including employment opportunities.
