Job Details MOLIN SIOUX FALLS - Sioux Falls SD Full Time Not Specified $21.00 Hourly None AnyCrane Crew A Crane Operator is responsible for machines that can lift loads weighing eight tons and up with booms that are more than 100 meters long. Crane Operator is responsible for the safe handling of concrete products and the safety of the individuals working in the area. Essential FunctionsSafe work practices at all times ensuring the safety of all employees in the areaRegular inspections to ensure equipment meets all operational and safety requirementsOperate equipment within safe allowable tolerancesWork longer hours with frequent shifts over 10 hoursWork in adverse weather conditions including heat and coldWork at heights of greater than 10 feet and on uneven surfacesHandling and rigging concrete products requiring excellent balance eye-hand coordination and attention to detailAwareness of surroundings and ever-changing environment at all timesWork full time Monday through Friday with frequent Saturday workAbility to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistencyContribute to company morale and group commitment to goalsPerform other duties as assigned by SupervisionQualifications Knowledge Skills and AbilitiesKnowledge of crane operation and capacitiesKnowledge and skill to use proper rigging as well as rigging BM and capacityUnderstanding of action and reaction relating to heavy objectsAbility to use equipment and tools properly and safelyAbility to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.Ability to lift push pull or carry objectsAbility to lift 25 pounds regularly 40 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionallyAbility to work in adverse weather conditions including heat and coldAbility to walk on uneven surfaces climb ladders and work on platforms and in high placesRequires good manual dexterity (hand hand with arm two hands) and multi-limb coordination.Ability to understand follow and transmit written and oral instructionsExcellent attendanceAbility to comply with all company policies procedures and safety requirementsEducation Training and ExperienceAny combination of education and experience that demonstrates the knowledge and ability to perform the work.Work ContextRegularly works near moving objects and in climate conditions that include inclement weather heat and humidity and exposure to dust and concreteNoise levels vary within facility.
