CNC Grinder Machinist at Modern Industries

**Candidates with experience on a Studer S41 CNC Grinder preferred. **Duties/Responsibilities:Loads unloads stops and starts manual and or CNC machines.Performs repeat setups. Listens to machine during operation in order to detect sounds such as those made by dull (in need of dressing) grinding wheels.Measures dimensions of finished pieces to ensure conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments and fixtures.Select and mount grinding wheels on machines according to specifications using hand tools and applying knowledge of abrasives and grinding procedures.Dress grinding wheels according to specifications.Required Skills/Abilities: Must be able to operate various type of type of machines such as surface grinders CNC grinding machines and or manual grinding machines as well as their maintenance.Knowledge of blueprint reading calipers micrometers and basic trigonometry or math skills is a must. Ability to use math to solve problems.
