Job Description
Provide instruction and guidance to employees and audit work processes and products to confirm production specifications are met. Maintain positive and effective relationships with employees. Direct employees to the appropriate manager regarding policy questions.Ensure compliance with all safety regulations quality standard policies and procedures. Report any problems potential problems hazardous situations to managementInspect products and/or shipments to verify conformance to specificationsReview and approve machine set ups production samples and/or shipments as necessaryIdentify and report opportunities for continual improvementWhen necessary attend production meetings and/or confer with other departments to coordinate production activitiesCoordinate or perform training for new employees contract workers and/or guests to ensure safety quality and production requirements are understood.Ensure the Quality Policy and Objectives are understood and achievedMay provide oversight of work conducted by junior-level staff and/or review/audit work for accuracyMay update and maintain shift schedules in the time and attendance system as well as enter attendance transactionsQualifications : High School Diploma or GED preferred2 or more years of experience in a manufacturing/operations environmentAble to consistently apply applicable policies procedures regulations and program objectives when carrying out the duties of the jobMust have proficient knowledge of technology including computers and software programs such as MS Office MAC word processing spreadsheets or other programs specific to the job in order to complete job duties successfullyMust have excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively across departments when completing assignmentsMust have strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and prioritize workload and make adjustments to meet business needsRegularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and rarely lift in excess of 50 poundsAbility to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate ratio and percentagesMust be able to communicate and interact with a variety of internal/external customers and/or co-workers at level of detail required to resolve issuesAdditional Information : All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.The pay range for this role at the noted location is $19.70 to $21.70 / hour.
