Job Posting -Associate - Defense Attorney Peek Law Group is a bilingual criminal defense and immigration firm with offices in Austin and San Antonio. For over 20 years, we have served individuals, families, and the Central Texas community with a strong commitment to justice, compassion, and integrity. We are seeking an experienced attorney who is passionate about justice, dedicated to high-quality advocacy, and committed to serving individuals and families during some of the most difficult times in their lives. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of purpose, a desire to help clients overcome significant legal challenges, and a drive to grow as both an attorney and an advocate.

Qualifications:
- MUST BE FLUENT/BILINGUAL IN ENGLISH AND SPANISH
- Minimum 2 years of experience in criminal law (defense or prosecution)
- Previous experience in Central Texas Counties courts, including Travis County, Hays County, and Williamson County, etc. is a plus
- Any additional experience with Spanish-speaking clients is highly favorable
- JD degree and admission to the State Bar of Texas is required
- Strong oral advocacy skills with a preference for prior litigation experience
- Ability to work independently and in a high volume, fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage your own docket with limited supervision
- Ability to work well with people of diverse cultural, educational, and professional backgrounds
- Valid driver's license - travel to jails and detention centers within Central Texas will be necessary on a regular basis
