Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $32-$42/hour Village Behavioral Health (VBH) is a licensed behavioral health organization providing crisis services. Our mission is rooted in the belief thatit takes a villageto foster healing, stability, and recovery.We are dedicated to delivering high quality, person centered, trauma-informed care to individuals experiencing behavioral health crises throughout Virginia.The Licensed Mental Health ProfessionalEligible (LMHP-E) delivers clinical support and direct mental health services within Crisis Services in alignment with DBHDS licensing requirements and Virginia Medicaid Behavioral Health guidelines. This role is responsible for conducting assessments, coordinating individualized care, and providing trauma-informed, person-centered crisis interventions for individuals experiencing acute psychiatric distress under the supervision of a licensed professional.Salary Range: $32-$42 per hourHybrid (some on-site work required in Colonial Heights, Virginia and surrounding areas)This position is part of a crisis services program and may require supporting individuals in crisis during evening, overnight, weekend, or holiday hours as needed.Clinicians are required to use their personal vehicles or company vehicles to perform some of the duties assigned to their jobs.Primary Responsibilities:Conduct timely face-to-face comprehensive assessments upon admission and throughout the episode of care.Develop and implement individualized crisis stabilization and safety plans.Deliver brief, evidence-based therapeutic interventions and support recovery-oriented care.Coordinate discharge planning and facilitate linkages to community-based behavioral health services.Collaborate with psychiatric providers, nurses, and behavioralhealth staff to monitor risk and treatment progress.Engage in real-time clinical staffing and supervision of the Mobile Crisis Team.Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with DBHDS, DMAS, and agency requirements.Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and ensure care alignswith state service requirements.Provide clinical supervision and/or oversight to QMHP staff as permitted by licensure and job duties.When or if working MCR must be able to use a GPS enabled smartphone or tablet during all MCR direct service activities.Required Qualifications:Must meet the definition of a Licensed Mental Health Professional Eligible (LMHP-E) or be eligible to meet it as defined in 12VAC35-105-20.Completed a Master's Degree in Psychology, Human Services, Counseling, or similar field.In-depth understanding of psychiatric crises, suicideprevention, and trauma-informed care.Knowledge of DBHDS licensing regulations ofMedicaid documentationstandards, and behavioral health best practices.Skilled in risk assessment, de-escalation, and clinical decision-making under pressure.Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams in a high-acuity environment.Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and electronic health records proficiency.Village Behavioral Health (VBH) offers a comprehensive benefits package to all full-time employeesincluding medical, dental, and vision coverages, 401k, life insurance, paid time off, professional development assistance, and more!
