Cruise Missile Systems Chief Engineer/Senior Engineering ManagerCompany:The Boeing CompanyThe Space Intelligence & Weapons Systems (SI&WS) organization is seeking a Cruise Missile Systems Chief Engineer/Senior Engineering Manager for the Weapons Engineering Team based in St. Charles MO. This position is responsible for management and oversight of the Precision Engagement Systems (PES) Cruise Missile Systems (CMS) Engineering Team in support of CMS programs which includes Harpoon SLAM-ER Coastal Defense and other derivatives.The SI&WS organization values leaders that eagerly take responsibility for solving have an inherent bias towards action set high standards for themselves and for those with whom they work honor and achieve commitments and are able to deliver results strive to be the best and to develop the best and think long term. We also find it important that our leaders demonstrate our values and are great at building consensus across stakeholders.Position Responsibilities:Perform as the senior Chief Engineer in support of Cruise Missile System Programs with oversight and approval of technical approaches integrated plans products procedures and processesOversees all aspects of program engineering and Integrated Product Teams through define build and support phasesEnsures engineering integrity safety and quality of all products in adherence to company processesResponsible for the Programs ability to meet cost schedule technical and compliance requirementsPerform as the Engineering focal for Enterprise Engineering initiatives such as Model-based Engineering Design Practices and Technical Lead Engineer constructsSenior technical Point of Contact to executive leadership other functions and customers. Formulates Engineering position and communicating that position when elevation is requiredResponsible for the portfolio technology roadmap and oversight and management of IRAD projectsTechnical leadership and development of Program chief engineers and establishing talent pipeline to develop future chief engineersThis position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).
