Job Overview Title: CT Technologist Department: CT Tech Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks) Schedule: Mid Shift 5x8 Hours 3:00 PM 11:30 PM Start Date: 12/01/2025 Job Description Summary: We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging for adult acute care ED ICU and outpatient settings. This mid-shift role requires proficiency with Siemens or Toshiba CT scanners strong IV start/venipuncture skills and knowledge of contrast administration. First-time travelers with at least 1 year of CT experience are welcomed. Weekend rotation and floating between like units are required. Responsibilities: Core CT Imaging Perform CT exams of the abdomen pelvis chest head neck spine and musculoskeletal system with and without contrast Conduct advanced CT procedures including: CT angiography (vascular CTA coronary CTA) CT brain perfusion CT arthrography Myelography Transplant studies Musculoskeletal trauma Support special procedures such as: Aspirations* Drain placements* Biopsies* Perform multiplanar reconstructions (MPR) and post-processing Patient Care & Workflow Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture independently Prepare and administer contrast media safely Respond to Code Stroke imaging protocols Work across multiple care settings: Adult Acute Care Emergency Department Adult Outpatient* ICU Float between like units as needed Technical & Operational Operate Siemens and Toshiba CT scanners** Utilize PACS for imaging storage review and documentation Chart examinations in Epic (required) Maintain radiation safety compliance and quality standards Ensure proper patient identification positioning and protocol selection Key Requirements: Minimum 1 year CT Tech experience required First-time travelers accepted Weekend rotation required Must float between like units Mid shift: 3:00 PM 11:30 PM RTO must be included at time of submission Facility may call off up to once per pay period No pending licenses accepted Block scheduling considered at manager discretion Locals accepted Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or CT program Experience: At least 1 year of full-time CT experience Community hospital experience preferred ED ICU and acute care CT experience strongly preferred License & Certifications: ARRT (R) Required State CT License Required BLS (AHA) Required Venipuncture Certification Required Fluoro Permit Preferred Skills Core CT Skills Abdomen & pelvis CT (with/without contrast) Chest CT Head CT (with/without contrast) Spine: cervical thoracic lumbar Musculoskeletal trauma Adult emergency CT Post-processing & MPR Advanced / Specialty Procedures* (preferred) CT angiography Brain perfusion CT arthrography Myelography Aspirations* Drainage* Biopsies* Transplant studies Equipment Siemens* Toshiba* PACS Epic EHR Additional Skills Starting IVs & venipuncture Preparation & administration of contrast media Code Stroke response ATD Technology LLC is a certified minority woman owned business that creates opportunities to match qualified individuals with client programs while meeting all parties financial and technical goals.
