Position Title: MRI Technologist Location: New York NY 10032 Job Type: Contract Shift: Days (58) Duration: 13 Weeks Pay Rate: $50$56/hour ($1875$2100/week)Position Summary:Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking MRI Technologistfor an exciting job in New York NY.Responsibilities:Perform MRI examinations according to established protocols to produce accurate diagnostic images.Verify patient identity complete MRI safety screening and ensure proper positioning.Administer contrast media under NYS certification and monitor for adverse reactions.Operate troubleshoot and maintain MRI scanners and related equipment.Document patient information and imaging details using EMR RIS HIS PACS and modality-specific systems.Maintain MRI suite safety standards including compliance with Joint Commission requirements.Collaborate with radiologists nurses and clinical staff to support workflow and patient care.Ensure patient comfort privacy and professional communication.Maintain equipment cleanliness readiness and functionality; report issues promptly.Complete continuing education to meet ARRT requirements.Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED required.Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.Active NYS Radiography license.NYS certification to administer contrast media.ARRT certification in Radiography and Magnetic Resonance Imaging.Minimum of one year of diagnostic imaging experience including recent MRI experience.Proficiency with EMR RIS HIS PACS and MRI software.Ability to work variable weekday shifts (e.g. 9a6p or 10a6p) and every other weekend.Must meet ARRT continuing education requirements.For more details contact at or Call / Text at .About Navitas Healthcare LLC certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
