Job Title: CT Technologist Location: New York NY Type: Contract Pay Rate From: $67/hr Area: Imaging CTPosition Overview: Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a CT Technologist for a job in New York NY.Responsibilities: Perform CT procedures using appropriate kV and mA techniques to ensure high-quality diagnostic imaging. Conduct daily quality control and calibration checks to verify equipment readiness. Administer contrast/radioactive materials per physician orders and prescribed protocols. Maintain detailed documentation logs charge sheets and report equipment issues per regulatory standards. Perform quality control quality assurance and radiation safety checks following ALARA guidelines. Retrieve manage and maintain imaging data for radiologist interpretation. Order patient-specific radiopharmaceutical doses one day prior to use. Receive and verify radiopharmaceutical deliveries including dose activity verification.Requirements: Active NYS DOH Radiologic Technologist License (Required). ARRT certification in Radiography and CT (Required). BLS certification (Required). Minimum 1 year of CT experience. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
