Job Title: CT Technologist Location: Syracuse NY 13215 Contract Length: 13 WeeksShift Options:Day: 5x8 (07:0015:00)Day: 5x8 (11:0019:00)Block Scheduling: NoJob DescriptionThe CT Technologist performs high-quality computed tomography procedures in accordance with physician orders departmental standards and safety protocols. The role requires strong technical ability attention to detail and the capability to support a fast-paced imaging environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform CT imaging procedures per physician orders following departmental and industry standards.Operate CT scanners and related imaging equipment with proficiency and safety.Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures including proper positioning and shielding.Review and verify patient information exam orders and prior imaging before scanning.Follow radiation safety principles and maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.Collaborate with radiologists nurses and other clinical staff to ensure optimal workflow and patient care.Maintain equipment cleanliness report malfunctions promptly and assist with quality assurance tasks.Manage imaging data within the PACS/RIS systems and complete accurate documentation.Preferred ExperienceExperience operating Siemens CT scanners.Required QualificationsA.A.S. in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.Active New York State License/Registration in Radiologic Technology.Minimum 1 year of CT or MRI experience as a radiologic technologist.For more details reach at or Call / Text at -EXT 4807.About Navitas Healthcare LLC: It is a certified WBENC and one of the fastest-growing healthcare staffing firms in the US providing Medical Clinical and Non-Clinical services to numerous hospitals.
