CT Technologist – Specialty Imaging

Full-Time Permanent

The CT Technologist performs diagnostic imaging exams using advanced equipment and technology, working closely with radiologists and clinical teams to ensure accurate imaging, patient safety, and timely results.


What You’ll Do

  • Perform CT diagnostic exams following established protocols and quality standards
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including contrast administration and venipuncture
  • Operate specialized CT equipment and imaging software to produce high-quality diagnostic images
  • Assist with CT interventional and special procedures as needed
  • Monitor patients for contrast reactions and respond appropriately
  • Maintain compliance with radiation safety, infection control, and patient safety standards
  • Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical staff to support efficient patient care
  • Ensure proper documentation and adherence to department and hospital policies


What We’re Looking For

  • Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
  • Active State of Nevada license in Radiology
  • ARRT registration in Radiography
  • National certification in Computed Tomography (or another applicable imaging specialty)
  • BLS certification through the American Heart Association


Experience That’s Strongly Preferred

  • ARRT registration specifically in Computed Tomography
  • Three or more years of CT experience in a trauma or acute care hospital setting
  • Experience performing CT interventional exams
  • Comfort working in a high-acuity, fast-paced imaging environment


Skills and Knowledge That Matter

  • Strong understanding of CT procedures, protocols, and imaging equipment
  • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiographic principles
  • Experience with contrast administration, venipuncture, and recognizing adverse reactions
  • Familiarity with quality assurance and quality control standards
  • Ability to position patients accurately to achieve optimal imaging results
  • Strong communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse populations under time-sensitive conditions
  • Commitment to safe, efficient, and patient-centered imaging care
