City/StateWoodbridge VAWork ShiftRotatingOverview:Sentara is currently hiring a CAT Scan Technologist in at the Sentara Northern Virginia Medical Center in Woodbridge.This is a Flexi opportunity with rotating shifts.As a CAT Scan Technologist you will provide quality Computed Tomography (CT) Imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to the required protocol standards. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) per protocol under the direction of a qualified physician; Provides patient and family education; Operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; Maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Follow radiation safety regulatory guidelines.Administration of CT Contrast per protocol.Qualifications: Trade School Graduate - Radiologic TechnologyARRT or CNMT is required BLSMust obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire.
