$10000 Sign On Bonus EligibleInternal employees and employees rehired within one year are not eligible for sign-on bonusThe  CT Technologist  reflects the mission vision and values of NM adheres to the organizations Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program and complies with all relevant policies procedures guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards.RESPONSIBILITIESPositions and immobilizes patient on examining table.Administers contrast media oral and/or IV contrast in accordance with department policies and procedures patient history indicators exam protocols and physician orders and follows through with post exam instructions.Enters data such as type of scan slice thickness scan time and other technical data into computer.Communicates with patient before and during procedure; monitors safety comfort.Views images of organs or tissue on video display screen to ensure quality of pictures; produces radiographs.Performs CT equipment QA and maintains required logs.Performs clerical tasks such as receiving orders scheduling patients and recordkeeping.Maintains and cleans work area and equipment; replenishes supplies as neededThis position is full-time 80 hours per pay period evening shift 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. with alternating weekends and holidays.Qualifications : Required:ARRTIEMA Division of Nuclear SafetyBLS through American Heart Association2 to 3 years of undergraduate education or equivalent1 to 3 years experiencePhysical Demands Requirement: Physical demands required for this role include lift/carry up to 50 pounds and a push/pull force up to 50 poundsPreferred: ARRT registry in CT or MRIAdditional Information : Northwestern Medicine is an equal opportunity employer (disability VETS) and does not discriminate in hiring or employment on the basis of age sex race color religion national origin gender identity veteran status disability sexual orientation or any other protected status.Background CheckNorthwestern Medicine conducts a background check that includes criminal history on newly hired team members and at times internal transfers.
