Pride Health is currently seeking candidates for an CT Technologist position that will provide support to our client's healthcare systems in Columbia, SC. This is a contract assignment with a high likelihood of extension and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Position Summary:

Job Title: CT Technologist

Location: Columbia, SC

Contract length: 13 weeks

Schedule: Days (4x10hrs)

Shift: Tuesday – Friday | 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM

Pay Range: $2000 - $2335/ Gross Weekly DOE

Overview:

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, along with experience in diagnostic radiology and medical imaging techniques. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing computed tomography scans, ensuring the highest quality images for accurate diagnosis while prioritizing patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans on patients as per physician orders, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and patient care plans.
• Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns they may have.
• Maintain equipment functionality through regular checks and troubleshooting, ensuring optimal performance.
• Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards related to medical imaging and patient care.
• Stay updated on advancements in CT technology and best practices in imaging techniques, including PET scans and nuclear medicine.

Requirements:

• Minimum Experience: 1 year CT experience
• First-Time Travelers: Accepted
• Equipment Experience: Philips & Siemens CT scanners
• Epic Experience: Required
• Certifications: BLS (AHA or Red Cross), ARRT (CT), and SCRQSA (CT)
